Most of our website builds fall into one of eight categories. Below are some examples of site we have built in each category as a guideline to you to assess which category your website might come under.

Category A: Basic Intro/Single Landing (Holding) Page

For businesses building their first website, who have just secured a domain name, and are planning a more extensive website at a future time.

McGrane’s Milk Barn

Client wanted to put up a temporary holding page to have an immediate online presence, as is planning to seek LEO funding to build a more extensive site in the future.

We acquired the domain name on their behalf and then our graphic designer worked with them to develop a brand/logo, and we then utilised this on the holding page.

Category B: Education & Resources Websites

For schools, social enterprises and charities, who are usually self-funded, or direct government funded. These public facing organisations are usually prohibited from seeking the types of business grants that private businesses can avail of. They are typically brochure style websites, with little functionality required.

Linn Dara Schools

Linn Dara Schools support students who are admitted to either Linn Dara CAMHS Approved Centre or patients within Linn Dara CAMHS Community Services.

They wanted to replace their existing website with a simple, user friendly, clean brochure style site to highlight their programmes and core values.

We undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine the optimum way to reorganise their existing and new information. Then, with a consensus on how the site and it’s information should be presented, we built it.

Hill Street Family Resource Centre

Hill Street Family Resource Centre is an Intercultural Family Centre based in Dublin’s Northeast Inner City, offering Services & Supports for Families and the Community

Client wanted a complete overhaul of their existing website which had become cluttered, and impossible to manage. It needed to be a simple, clean brochure style site and they had several aspects they wanted us to look at.

Prior to the build we undertook a series of interactive workshops with the client to determine the optimum way to reorganise their existing information (which there was a lot of) and the new communications now required, whereby potential visitors to the new site could now easily navigate it and find the relevant information they needed quickly to connect with the client.

Category C: Portfolio

For businesses who want to demonstrate their range of services with a sample of portfolio projects. It’s a brochure style approach with little functionality required and can be self-funded or business grant funded.

Typical clients would be Artists, Crafts People, Manufacturing, and Construction Companies

Ashmore Building

A small building construction company based in Co Meath, Ashmore Building has extensive experience in the construction of architecturally designed homes, renovations and extensions, with specialist expertise in passive house design and construction.

They wanted to replace their existing website with a simple, user-friendly, clean brochure style site to highlight their construction expertise and a portfolio of completed construction projects.

We undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to present their experience and project portfolio. We then organised a professional photographer to take some high-level photos to showcase their fantastic building and design skills, which we then presented on the website.

Category D: Professional Services

For people and businesses who offer professional services to their customers and clients. How they are presented online is of vital importance to their business, and they usually want to elaborate on their range of services, whilst showcasing their expertise in particular areas of industry or business.

It’s a brochure style approach with little functionality required and can be self-funded or business grant funded. Typical clients would be Accountants, Solicitors, Tradespeople, Consultants etc.

FHC Accountants

A Business Advisory Services company. FHC supports SMEs on their financial growth journey. Their aim is to give their clients the tools and capabilities to understand their business and achieve peace of mind and healthy growth
This was a relatively new business, and this was their first website. They first required a new brand/logo and then a simple, user-friendly, clean brochure style site to highlight their range of business services.

Alongside a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to present what they had to offer; we oversaw the creation of a new brand/logo. Our writer was able to drill right down with the owner to get all the relevant information about their professional services offering. We then organised a professional videographer to create a video (for the homepage), to help introduce the business owner to new potential clients, which we then presented on the website.

Network IT

One Of The North East’s Leading Providers Of Fully Customised Managed IT Services. With over 30 years of experience, this expert team delivers enterprise-level solutions at affordable prices, giving businesses the IT support it needs to flourish.

A B2b company with a lot of experience, they wanted to replace their existing website with a simple, user-friendly, clean brochure style site to highlight their team’s vast experience and wide range of products and services on offer to local businesses who did not have their own IT department.

With a particular focus on their product offering in the North Leinster marketplace, alongside a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to present what they had to offer; we oversaw the creation of a new brand/logo. Our writer was then able to drill right down with the owners to get all the relevant and required information for the new website.

Category E: Booking / Multi-Services Websites

With the advent of financial support available from Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs), alongside the introduction of a wide array of new website technologies, this has been a huge growth area in the last 10 years. These are websites that operate on many different levels with customer interaction from appointment bookings and meal reservations to activity and event bookings. Typical clients would be salons, museums, restaurants, hotels, activity centres and sports clubs.

Flawless Beauty

This a beauty salon based in Co Cork, and who offer their customers and clients a wide range of beauty treatment services and products.

This was a business whose online presence was on social media only. They did not have a website but decided to avail of LEO funding to get their first website built. They had a wide range of treatment services available, and had secured a distribution deal for several product brands that they could now sell directly to their customers.

We undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to present their full range of products and multi-services.

We built a full ecommerce shop with a starting range of approximately 150 individual products. We also integrated the Phorest appointment booking system onto the website. They are also fully trained on how to use the website themselves and continue to grow and offer more products and services as the business has evolved since.

Navan Adventure Centre

Navan Adventure Centre offers an action-packed outdoor experience and fun for all the family, offering a wide range of outdoor activities including archery, footgolf, and many more.

Originally called Navan Adventure Sports, they wanted to rebrand and then set up a booking system for their activities. This was also a time where they were expanding the business by increasing the number and types of activities to widen their customer base.

With a particular shift in their focus to more family-based activities, we undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to present their new product offerings, whilst overseeing the creation of a completely new brand/logo. We then organised a professional photographer and videographer to take some high-level photos and to create some videos to showcase their fantastic new range of family activities. This was included in the build alongside a new activity booking engine, and an ecommerce voucher sales page. They were also able to avail of a Trading Online Voucher from LEO to offset some of their build costs

Category F: eCommerce, B2B & Retail Websites

Similar to Category E, with the advent of financial support available from Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs), alongside the introduction of a wide array of new website technologies, this has also seen huge growth in the last 10 years. These are websites that often have a physical presence also and so they can sell products both online and offline. Typical clients would be retail outlets and public facing distributers.

The Paint Mill

The Paint Mill is the DIYer’s dream, where expert advice about paint is provided by an experienced team of painters and colour consultants. They offer a wide range of quality paints, colour cards, brushes and other painting accessories.

Originally called Navan Paint Hub and with just a local social media presence, they wanted to rebrand as The Paint Mill, to expand the business online and to widen their customer base.

With the shift in their focus to more online activity, we undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to present their range of product offerings and DIY expertise, whilst overseeing the creation of a completely new brand/logo. We then organised a professional photographer to take some high-level photos to help showcase their expertise and their fantastic range of paint products. This was included in the build alongside a full online ecommerce shop. They were also able to avail of a Trading Online Voucher from LEO to offset some of their build costs.

Bach Materials

Bach Materials supplies a wide variety of gemstones and pearls for jewellery makers in Ireland and abroad.

This was a relatively new business, and this was their first website. They required a simple, user-friendly, clean ecommerce style retail website which was primarily for both existing and new wholesale customers. The two main elements to this site were a front facing informational façade, and then a closed-off wholesaler login area with ecommerce shop behind it.

We undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to present their full range of products. Our writer was then able to drill right down with the owners to get all the relevant and required information for the new website. They were also able to avail of a Trading Online Voucher from LEO to offset some of their build costs.

Category G: Network Group Websites

These are websites that are built specifically for members of a professional business group network to be able to communicate together and share resources. They can also be used to inform the public about the various product and services that the individual members have to offer in the form of a membership directory. Typical clients here would be Professional Business Associations and Network Groups.

Ballymun4business

Ballymun4business is business network group that fosters connections, collaboration, and community support for businesses in and around Ballymun, Dublin.

They were looking for a new website that could be presented in a more professional way, that could manage their member subscriptions more effectively and could communicate member services to the local community.

Working with Dublin City Council for this project, we undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to present their service offerings and how to more effectively manage their membership requirements. We also oversaw a small upgrade with their logo/branding, and continue to work with them to regularly update and improve their new site.

P.A.L.I. (Play, Activity & Leisure Ireland)

PALI has over 120 members and represents the interests of Indoor and Outdoor Family Entertainment Centres (FEC’S) throughout Ireland. The network group came about as a result of the widespread increases in public liability insurance and it was felt that by bringing all the FECs together that they could have a much stronger presence as a group rather than as indiviuals.

The website was their first site as a group and so there was a lot of work, organising and planning to be done prior to the build. They were looking for a site that could manage their member subscriptions effectively and that gave them a platform for the sharing of resources.

We undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to manage their online communications and how to effectively manage their membership requirements. As part of this project, we also created a membership directory with links to all the individual members websites.

Category H: Financial Services & Property Websites

These are probably the most complex sites to build as there tends to be a lot of moving parts involved. There needs to be a lot of hands-on management as the products and service offerings often change and get updated regularly. Typical clients would be insurance brokers, estate agents etc.

Sheridan Insurances

With offices in Navan and Cavan, Sheridan Insurances provides a range of insurance products including home, health, motor, liabilities, professional indemnity, commercial vehicle, life, income protection, wealth, farm and much more. Sheridan Insurances is a long-established Irish Brokerage that has been insuring people, their homes and businesses for more than forty years.

With a growing number of new insurance products in the marketplace, they were looking for a new and modern customer facing website that was a lot more marketing orientated, whereby their own access to a vast amount of insurance and related products could be presented to their potential customers in a more user-friendly manner, whilst conveying a level of reassuring experience and specific industry knowledge.

Working with a large team of both management and brokers for this project, we undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine how best to present their large range of product offerings. Our writer was then able to drill right down with the management and marketing team to get all the relevant and required information. The technology used for the build is a modern cutting-edge platform, which is very easy to manage, and we continue to work with them to regularly update and improve their site.

Lydon Farrell Property

Lydon Farrell Property was only established in 2020 but quickly placed itself at the forefront of the Irish property market. Built on substantial experience and in-depth knowledge within the commercial, residential, valuations and asset management areas, the Company provides high-quality and competitive services to both the private and corporate sectors.

As a brand-new business entering a very competitive marketplace, their initial requirement was the creation of a new brand/logo. This was to be followed up with a cutting-edge modern website platform that could showcase their growing array of both commercial and residential properties. The new website would need to convey their market experience and high level of professionalism from Day 1.

As it was their first website, there was a lot of work, organising and planning to be done prior to the build. We undertook a series of interactive planning workshops with them to determine the best platform solution, including being mindful of probable scalability, and how best to present their growing range of properties in a user-friendly manner. In tandem with this, we oversaw the creation of a completely new brand/logo. The technology used for the build is a modern cutting-edge platform, which is very easy to manage, and we continue to work with them to regularly update and improve their site.
